“WOW…… awesome music !!! Awesome product !!! … and you are correct… Kevin’s would be so proud of this. I know he is listening from another room.
Butch!!!! You did an AMAZING job on every aspect of this project. It is so bittersweet to know that the project is completed because it feels like another cycle of Kevins legacy is closed. But at the same time his legacy is becoming greater for all that you and Dodie have accomplished by putting this together.”

“Kevin wished that you would fully realize your score. The prophecy is overwhelming and I am both bereft and joyful at the listening…
I first saw you when you were showing off your wedding gown, just back from the tailor, to the company of Phantom – you were leaving the show to marry Kevin, I was introduced as your replacement. Six years later, walking by the rehearsal hall of the Civic Opera House in Chicago and waving to you, so slight, sitting behind the concert grand piano at the inception of your Dracula. Kevin asking me to read Mina in the PCLO parking lot, table reads, rehearsals, the fog that rolled into the theater during the second act, Kevin’s face calling you up onto the stage at the curtain call in Stonington. Kevin’s face looking at you, Kevin’s announcements when you were arriving in town. Kevin and Dodie!
Your score soars! It captures the story, Dodie, and depicts each character as it sweeps the listener to another place and time. I hear and appreciate the additional music you have written and included in the story telling. Kevin, with every word married to every note, portrays an understanding of life and death that is both haunting and beautiful - eternal.
Thank you for including me in this journey. Thank you for engaging me with a troupe of wonderful actors and musicians, and to allow us all the embrace of Bob, Beth and dear Butch’s technical mastery and individual craft.”
Sending you love Be easy! You have done it!

“Just finished listening to your recording of DRACULA in its entirety, and I’m truly astonished and impressed beyond words at the majesty of it all. I heartily congratulate you both (and our dear Kevin) for having so successfully completed this very impressive and gargantuan undertaking. The combination of a compelling story, remarkable performances, imaginative and creative orchestrations played by the finest musicians, of a score that is simply astonishing in its harmonic complexity and its lush romanticism. It is truly remarkable and brilliant, and a stunning conclusion to the story! Can’t wait to hear what happens next... and boy does this make me miss Kevin! Brava and Bravo to all involved.”
That's it!

“After listening to the entire CD numerous times and breaking it down here’s what I liked the best. First and foremost . . . KEVIN! Good God! What a talent! World class. I’ve never heard anyone reach notes like Kev could. And at full chest voice. Surely he had a five octave range…or more! A brilliant actor! Working with Kev forced me to bring in my “A” game, whether it be on stage or in a recording studio. I think I always do but for some inexplicable reason whenever I worked with him I was at my utmost best. Before and after work he always made me feel relaxed too; joking around, laughing, hugging, complementing and always with a huge genuine smile! I used to watch him from the wings during all of our Jekyll & Hyde gigs giving his usual 100% Each. And. Every. Time. I loved him. I miss him.
Ok…onward. The engineering and production values on this CD are second to none! Listening to the CD on technologically advanced new state of the art Bose headphones at level 5 (out of 10) gives me immersive true sound. I am able to hear EVERYTHING! It’s truly incredible. Major kudos goes out to you, Butch and Cooch. It still boggles my mind when I think of all the many years you all (especially you!) put into this immense project. Anyway, the story is told well and is easy to follow due to the narration, which is the glue that holds the story together. I’m not complimenting myself. It’s just well-written narration. I liked Kate a LOT! She’s still got it. Plus she’s a wonderful person! Her “Don’t Leave Us” is awesome! I’m running out of time for now but I’ll continue on at another time soon after I listen to it again.”

“I’m not a musical theatre actor so I was a little skeptical of my abilities to pull this off. But I must hand it to the entire creative team...they were honest, kind, and organized... which allowed me to stop listening to that voice in my head and to do the best job I could do. They were also SO MUCH FUN. I would work with this team on anything. Enjoy the show y'all!”
